iizwhoiiz 113
But the problem is, it’s with all of their products. It’s a way for them to guarantee someone will purchase the newer product in the future. It’s not about the batteries, that’s an excuse. Their practices have gone on for years. I’m glad they’re being sued. It’s screwing their customers.
Addison Rae 18,248
Now I know why my phone kept shutting down at like 5% But I recently updated after holding it off for two years and it’s back to normal. sitting on his lap sipping diet pepsi
paul 687
this is all so ridiculous; people would be equally, if not more outraged if their phones shut down because the battery was ****. all they've done is make iOS adapt to what the phone can do, deciding that a slightly slower phone is better than a phone that cuts out frequently. If you keep upgrading each September then I doubt you'll ever feel a slower iPhone because your battery cycle probably still has a lot left to offer. "Early in 2018, we will issue an iOS software update with new features that give users more visibility into the health of their iPhone’s battery, so they can see for themselves if its condition is affecting performance." The new update will provide more info about if youre affected by the slowdown etc. tbh there should be an option to enable or disable it.

You can contact apple and with ur phone serial number they can get into your phone and see the use of your battery, why can’t we get that more easily by ourselves? hopefully we will

We paid $900 for this **** and yet the batteries are shitty. Idk, I probably won't buy another Apple product after this. I mean like, this company be shady af. Im done with iphones too. They are just not durable enough to justify the price. Sometimes they havent lasted me the entire contract period and im stuck paying tabs early plus a new phone Im looking at affordable phones now. My gf used Huawule phones now and shes happy with them and im using that next. They work just fine and u dont need to pay premium for brand name

I think the combination of telling the person if they're affected and lowering the charge was an amazing move from Apple, they rarely do these things. But I agree with you, there should be an option to disable it if wanted.
