oh, hello guys :queenga:

here in indonesia we have ... i'd say a crazy week (actually last week)...  let's me make it short

1. Constitutional Court reject petition to criminilize gay sex and sex outside marriage (me and the gheys were happy about this news until...)
2. we have DWP one of the biggest edm music festival being held in jakarta(once a year) and..
3.and we have an Earthquake :')

those 3 things happened in the same day and here come the aftermath of the three points up there

it made people in Indonesia talks about it... which is can be determined to be a good thing... but for me it's otherwise

u can see in the twitter Hastags about "TolakLGBT" which means "SaynotoLGBT" became viral and some other people said the earthquake happening because of point 1 and 2,
one of the biggest televison show make a discussion about it (it's called ILC on TvOn* (1)) and so on... people make hate speech too on twitter, they want us to be quarantined, some people said they want to burn us alive :cryga: it makes me stressed for a couple of days...

okay let's go to  the title, so today i want to search something about the news but i fouund this video,

and i'm SHOOK. like how can a movie like this came out from a country like this,

and suddenly this makes me happy :wtfga: idk it just made me happy, and i want to share it with you guys! xoxo

I was going to go there for a study abroad trip - and my friend was so worried about me and said I should not drink or have sex there because of how strict they are. And drugs are like a death penalty basically :laughga:

It got cancelled so no worries for me now.

I mean, still so many people there are not having the luxury to be educated, many kids are still not have the luxury to go to school, while many the adults are illiterate, so they can easily manipulated by those extremist religious groups that took religious teachings at face value, or by any groups really. I mean, seriously, so long many Indonesians still relying to shaman than doctors when they got sick or feel unwell body and soul, becuase they worried they were getting voodoed, nothing good will coming out of that place.

Plus, poverty. Many people who joined all those demonstrations regardless of the cause are ding it because they got paid and they got lunch boxes.

Trying to connect the dot that earthquake happened because someone is punishing them is silly. Earthquakes are natural phenomena.

All those FPI and 212 folks are fxcking hypocrite anyway.

I hope all LGBT there can stand tough through this. I am aware most LGBT there are in closet and married to opposite sex because of reasons, but you need to unite with each other. Undivided We Won't Fall. And I believe there are still so many more good Indonesians anyway. The one that disagree with their extreme Muslim brothers and sisters.

I just wish the government actually do something about these hate groups. They are criminals and need to be treated as such. But no, they didn't because they were formed under backing from some politicians like Amien Rais.

Drugs trafficking is an offense punishable by death in most Asian countries actually, you saw what happened in Philippines lately? Even in South Korea, Taiwan and Singapore that are very developed countries, this penalty are in use.

They didn’t give us that many details on it - just that we would go to Indonesia.

And they didn’t have enough students sign up so it got cancelled.
