My decision is officially Spotify Premium! :staymad:

I'll only ever go back to TIDAL when they drop exclusives (I'll just create a new account for that free trial :poot:)

Once I get an iPhone (most likely the 8 Plus), I intend on using Apple Music but that might change if I don't like the service... :laughga:

If you're interested in music suggestions and playlists, definitely Spotify. I prefer Apple Music though since I think the quality is better and I like the exclusives :classy:

TIDAL and Google Play are just a no.

OT: Spotify is the answer

Poor TIDAL. They promised the world, and ended up delivering the same. Flop

Hello, all you bottoms :selena:

Before anything, I would just like to say happy holidays to everyone here on GGD! :nick:

Now, let's get to what I need help with :bon:

I need help choosing a streaming service to use and have a subscription for, and being the indecisive person that I am, I want some feedback as what to get.

My options are Apple Music, TIDAL, Google Play Music or Spotify. I have had Spotify Premium before, and the service was great, but I felt like the app needed something more in order for it to satisfy me completely. :poot: I switched over to TIDAL (because of Lemonade :poot:) and have been using it since around spring 2016. However, my subscription was accidentally canceled last week since my previous card got stolen. (Don't worry, the card was canceled and replaced, so that whole mess is taken care of.) :laughga: I go to my local Best Buy to purchase a TIDAL gift card, thinking it would pay for a subscription while I wait for my new card, but that wasn't the case. Instead, it was credit to purchase something on the TIDAL store (which is similar to iTunes), but for some reason, it won't let me buy anything. So now there's $20 dollars on my TIDAL account that I can't use. :derpga: I'm debating whether I should stay with TIDAL or change to another service for 2018. For me, it's between these 4 services, and I've listed the pros and cons of them in order to give y'all some knowledge of it all. (Note: I have an Android phone.) :icega:

Apple Music

Pros: Wide music library, simplistic user interface, some exclusive content, available on Android

Cons: Audio quality isn't that stellar compared to other services

TIDAL

Pros: Exclusive content and offers, immaculate audio quality

Cons: Unpleasant customer service, no "songs" section in personal music library

Google Play Music

Pros: Wide music library, subscription comes with YouTube Red

Cons: Somewhat-unappealing user interface, average audio quality

Spotify

Pros: Large music library, simple user interface, great curated playlists, nice social networking

Cons: Audio quality isn't that stellar compared to other services, little to no exclusive content

---------------------------------------

So... what should I get? :selena:

I have had Spotify and Apple Music. Currently I have AM on android. There is a new feature for HD sound boosts for AUX inputs that really helps. Like you noted the exclusive content is great esp when artists like Bey and Taylor hold albums off the streaming lately. With AM I love the ability to watch and download MVs and add audio from iTunes if you need to purchase it (life long owner of purchased items is a plus!). Also if you ever have rare Gaga tunes or live performances adding it to your catelog is easy least for me.

Google allows you to store your own music on their servers and stream it anywhere.

So does Apple Music

I think you should go and buy a CD player and stick with Spotify Silver or whatever the free one is tbh.

But I'm a dinosaur

I have all Apple products and still have Spotify. I tried apple music for the free three months and couldn't get into the groove of it, I missed the way Spotify worked. Also, the interface just wasn't the tea for me. Plus the fact that my Spotify syncs up flawlessly with my phone, laptop, tv, playstation is the literal best thing ever.
