Hmmmm, so have you decided yet? :sis:

If we're talking about the streaming (which is what this thread was originally intended for :emma:), then I have decided to go with Spotify :sis: I do plan on moving to Apple Music whenever I get an iPhone though :lolly:

That's nice

Free spotify are rather annoying anyway cos ads, so paid version will surely enhance your experience :giggle:

I use Apple Music cauz I live in an Apple eco system :selena:

but paying for Netflix and Apple Music is a bit... too much

thinking about switching to the spotify/hulu student deal. But that means Ill have to give up Netflix and its Netflix Originals which I LIVE for

This is so stressful

If you're an audiophile and you want to support artists, I say use Tidal.

If you like a really great streaming service for casual users, use Spotify.

Yeah, I'm BIG on audio quality :whitney:

But one won't get the full high fidelity experience without the proper equipment (such as studio speakers), and you won't get said full experience through some regular earbuds with a smartphone :selena:

I support artists heavily outside of streaming services already :sis:

I am always on the lookout for new / undiscovered music, and Spotify is phenomenal at giving me just that :lolly:

I would normally say Apple Music, but I feel like the integration would not be good for an Android user, so Spotify.

Spotify for the reasons listed above. As long as storing your own music, you can do that with Play regardless of a subscription, right? If not, either just store them on the phone locally or use Microsoft's OneDrive and Groove for that as a side thing especially if you have a Windows 10 PC. You can just store on OneDrive and stream from any device. :)

Apple Music's Android app isn't that great. Also, I don't like how they made their headers ginormous. It was what Windows Phone did years ago and it wasn't received well. You'll find the exclusive content pretty much anywhere else and another personal reason I would not recommend Apple is I dislike the idea of one company monopolizing everything. Apple is becoming this evil megacorporation that people are buying into despite its numerous issues because it has a good image and they don't mind the issues cause it's Apple.

I voted for Google Play Music regardless.

Being able to upload your own songs is such a dealmaker omg

But the Android app is in serious need of a rewrite (which I heard is coming, no one knows when tho) and they don't always get new releases the same time when Spotify gets them.

But other than that, it's a really solid service.

Spotify or Apple Music

I have Spotify since last year as there was a good deal but Apple does get a lot of exclusives
