can someone clarify, did she give the ticket money back or give her a large substantial amount of money instead? I just don't understand how ~$200 she originally paid for the ticket bought a house???? either way shes a queen and im so done with people dragging her

Do you have to sell everything you own the second you lose your job? What is standard etiquite for job loss?

Also, “homeless” almost certainly means moved back in with her mother. It’s not like she was literally living on the street.

Down payment on a home? She coulda bribed an interviewer with it to give her a job? What is it that you believe that money, or the three hours at night that she spent seeing taylor, could’ve done for her that is so much better than seeing an artist she loves and relieving some stress from her current situation in a healthy way? Or is it just the principle of the matter, that poor people are not allowed to have fun, ever, because if they do that makes them a bad person.

Going to a concert is a luxury. Say what you want, but it is that. Most concerts are expensive and I'm sure Taylor's not an exception.

So no, it is not an activity most poor people can enjoy, not because they are not allowed to but because there are other priorities. Let's stop acting like going to a concert will change your life. You are not earning anything, the artist is. Getting a new house while going to a concert doesn't happen to everyone. Of course she would not buy a new house with the money she spent on a ticket, but she could use it to save or other essential stuff.

Hopefully the ticket was offered. And even if it was, I hope it came from someone who organises the concert, because I would never buy a concert ticket for someone who's in need of lots of other stuff.
