These colaborations never really brought anything exciting for me. The buildup in Diamond Heart would be one, for sure. Then that male voice that shows up in a bunch of the songs would be another poppier element. Sinner’s Prayer goes from darker at the start to pretty lighter, it softens by the end on the production. It’s a bit poppier, I bet he and Gaga did that as well because it isn’t Mark’s style at all to move songs that way. PI is pretty obvious. It’s pop rock when Gaga sings it as straight rock with a lot of rage (so the twinkly sounds and such). A-YO you can really hear it because a lot of the instrumentation has been pushed to the back or away all together. You can sometimes hear the horns on it, but on the production it’s very deep in it. Pop music generally doesn’t have tons of instrumentation and goes for hooks through one instrument in this case that being the guitar. Im not totally saying. Bloodpop did this as he and Gaga and Mark worked together but if there are some modern pop elements on this album you can bet he had a hand in them. EDIT: I think he probably did something with Hey Girl also because the song itself played in 5F2 sounds old until it gets washed in a synthesizer. Mus 7,848
I liked his work on Joanne very very much, what I didn’t like were the “Hey”s in Sinner’s Prayer and Grigio Girls. I think they would sound better without them tbh. Still, I’m excited to hear what they are working on! There could be a 1000 doves in the sky... NIghtmareElm 2,606
I would die for a Bloopop and DJ White Shadow produced album. So many bangers!

These colaborations never really brought anything exciting for me. I think Gaga mentionned that he polished the album and made it more 'pop' and recent in terms of sounds. I guess the electro break at the end of JW and mostly all production of DIC are his work. I think BloodPop was introduced to Gaga by Interscope like they adviced her to meet Hillary Lindsay and Father John Misty that fitted to the writting she wanted for Joanne. Bad Romance was always the slowest song in a club playlist, for example lol I imagine the speed of her songs will still be within that area so she can be able to sing them live without too much difficulty (Judas). I can agree with that (even though that only Pop-Dance track she made I could really consider Mid-tempo is Paparazzi, all the others sound a bit faster to me, BR included... But I am not really a music expert, certainly the production adds a lot of "Power", at least in my ears ) I just hope she will stick with her kind of Rock-ish approach to Pop and Dance Music... Personally I do not like at all this Chainsmoker/Ed Sheeran trend going on today, but that is just my opinion of course. I'm a real Fire CRRRACKERRR

Kevin Parker of Tame Impala did the “twinkly” sounds. That is Tame Impala’s STAPLE synth. Blood pops obvious contribution to PI is definitely the loud voice synth that starts the beginning of the song and recurs throughout.
