if it's gonna intervene with touring in the future (e.g., LG6 in europe), then i'm really sad. i don't have the resources to go to the us, let alone see her in vegas.

You can attend if you are accompanied by adults.  Residency shows usually have different restriction.

Both Cher and Bruno Mars residencies in the same venue as Gaga age requirement are ages 5 and up. Ages 5-17 must be accompanied by an adult.

I’m not particularly pleased with this.

Gaga is a touring force. Vegas residencies are more for people that DONT sell. Like I get it’s been a dream of hers and yeah it’s icon to play where all those greats played but Vegas isn’t the same Vegas it was. It doesn’t hold that star appeal anymore. I remember seeing Brit last year and I was underwhelmed. Just kinda seemed blah. Not to mention the toll it will probably take on her body any voice. But also with 75 shows in a 2 year span that leaves the option for performances else where as well. So I don’t think she’s only has to perform in Vegas. It’s not some scary death sentence.

My boyfriend and I went to see Britney back in October. Her show was sold out. Britney, as much as I like her, can be a mess sometimes but will still have a sold out show. If she can do a residency and be successful at that, so can Gaga.

Several people commenting on here have probably never been to a residency show let alone Vegas. I’ve traveled to Vegas three times and what I will tell you is that it is by far one of THE biggest tourist attraction cities in the world. There’s always something to do there; and trust me hunties there will be PLENTY of people flying there to go see Gaga :-)

Let’s be real; Britney lip syncs and performs like a programmed robot. Let’s not throw Gaga in that category JUST because she’s doing a residency. Gaga will bring her vocals, her stage presence, and her creative show, and blow people out of the water. If anything, it’s gonna expose her to more non fans.

All will be well. Think of this like a longer Roseland; that show was still very well done and still very Gaga.

Tbh, if anyone can make Vegas relevant, interesting and different, it's Lady Gaga. 

She's going to come with all her hits, some jazz numbers, ASIB tracks, new music and a HUGE BUDGET and it's going to be insane. Look at J.LO, she's more relevant than she has been in a decade, and she's kicking ass in Vegas. 

Stay pressed, but this is right up Gaga's gimmicky, over-the-top, gaudy, extravagant, alley.
