I'm so proud to have been one of the few white men who voted the right way yesterday morning. I went with my mom and she voted the same way. I told her "oh my God look at the difference in diversity here than the last election!!" It gave me hope. Last night was WILD but I'm a very grateful voter this morning. At 28 percent, the percentage of blacks voting in Alabama equaled the percentage who turned out to vote for Barack Obama in 12, Barack Obama, though, had more black people vote for him - both in 2012 and 2008.
