Idaius 127
PLEASE GOD!!! READY FOR THE EPIC CONCLUSION OF THE TRILOGY lol aren't we all So, I'm thinking this whole break is dedicated to getting the first single ready for September when **** GOES DOWN. Finalize production on the song, choreograph, film the video... The single should drop sometime in August so the public can hear it. Then September 6th hits, and BAM. Performance at the VMA's followed swiftly by the music video with a huge release on MTV ala Telephone. It's perfect. Please, Lord, make this a reality. EGOT2027 10,888
Although I believe she wouldn't have tweeted this unless it was to say they are working on the lead single video....I do not think it is a Beyonce finish to the trilogy because Jeff said that he isn't aware of a B duet and I think if it was going to be the lead single he would know. Miel 15,009
She looks like Tara! Hahaha. Ohhh I don't mind if this is the epic conclusion of the trilogy (have we ever found it if it was gonna be a trilogy? hmmm). I just hope it fits. I mean, even though Telephone was still pretty great without really matching the song, I kind of want the album era to be cohesive well, whatever happens happens, I hope it's great! And Lindsay might be in it (pure rumor I know)? I hope it's similar to her work in Machete, haha. 3 points in and ready for more
manilaluzon 0
I am here for Lindsay being in the video even though it won't happen.
Free Monster 0
Thank God. A professional director again. this she shouldn't have ever self directed anything :pukey: :pukey: :pukey:
kupo 201
Marry the Night is one of Gaga's best directed videos. I can't at these people saying "professional director again!" (besides, Gags got paid for directing MTN, so I got news for ya, she's a professional director). But, even though Gaga's proven herself a talent behind the camera as well, I will be glad if she brings Akerlund back on board for the continuation of the saga, as that should help ensure it has some aesthetic cohesion. Plus, it's just kind of the right thing to do out of respect.
Gagaloo911 12,959
Serz, most misleading title ever. She's NOT working with Akerlund. It was a picture with him at a bar. How does 1 conclude that they are working together again?! preach dat **** :worship: One's gotta admit that this fanbase is one of, if not THE, most overly assuming fanbases out there. #ThatsTheTruthTea Preach it gurrrrls! :legend:
HIM 0
And then Katy will pull a Twilight and steal the idea for herself. ;) That would mean Katy would announce it before Gaga......

Nissa 51
Not here for all this "I know what Gaga should do better than she does" attitude and the insipid DirectorGa bashing tbh. She is amazing at bringing her creative vision to life, and let's not forget that she is the ****ing ARTIST here and "professional directors" are only partly responsible for the technical execution of that vision (well, when they work with actual artists of course). But yeah, what Gaga herself produced and directed at the same time may not have been commercial enough for the masses and thus not as easily digestible. Anyhow we all know that any director she hires is practically the director of the video in name only who helps with specific technicalities such as flow, camera angles/techniques, etc. As for this news: that photo of her is ADORABLE. And I'm kind of neutral about Akerlund but I'm just so glad we're getting so much NEWS. Edited July 12, 2012 by Nissa
kupo 201
I'm so ready for this Gaga said she won't do it unless Beyonce is in it I guess there will be collab on her new album I wouldn't get too carried away. We don't even know if this means Akerlund is directing a video for her, and if he is, it's still possible it won't even be the Telephone continuation. And if it is, they could write Beyonce out of it in all sorts of ways, or give her a small cameo in the vid, without featuring her in the song. This photo is intriguing, but doesn't tell us a whole lot, to be honest.
