SiliconeMonster 1,617 Posted December 18, 2017 Share Posted December 18, 2017 I think The Fame is her least experimental album, and that's what makes it 'weak'. I adore The Fame, don't get me wrong. It has some of my favorite songs of hers of all time. BUT, she played it absolutely safe, and went with the current trends to produce lyrically repetitive but painfully catchy hits. It was a brilliant move imo. Now she has the legend status, she can take more experimental routes to do whatever she pleases cause she quite frankly doesn't give a damn whether it's radio friendly or not.
