Bazaar 5,752
Sounds quite false what they wrote about Gaga's parents... isn't it? And is that even Miley at 0:13?
Yuuri 21,636
Is that why The Fame only has 6 HQ tracks? Guess Papa Joe ran a little short.

elijahfan 26,306
Well, the job they're describing for Papa Joe is correct, but it doesn't necessarily mean they were "rich". However, to live where they were living in the Upper West Side, and to pay for both their daughters' education at the Convent of the Sacred Heart, it's very obvious that they weren't poor. Bloody 64,631
it's true that Gaga grew up in good conditions, but later she worked to get money..as a waitress and even as a stripper so her father didn't fund her 1st album with the best producers that part is not correct

venusfly 17,885
Isn’t it pretty common knowledge Gaga grew up with a lot of money? She went to a prestigious private school, went to a prestigious university and also lived in one of the most expensive parts of New York City, she’s lived an upper class life. She said herself her parents paid for her to live during the creation of the fame on the condition that if it didn’t work she’d go back into education, the best producers part is false though considering TF was mostly done by unknown producers. Actually, what she said was she had to live on her own without any help from her parents (hence the various waitress and stripper jobs), and had to make something happen within a year - otherwise, she'd have to go back home to her parents' and to uni. Both stories sound familiar but I’ll take your word for it End of the day though she still grew up quite wealthy.
Andy McQueen 4,484
Well, nothing we haven't known already. Neoliberalism sadly takes its toll ... Imagine hard-working middle-class people coming so far only with the help of meritocracy, it rarely happens because they just don't have the same possibilities and oppurtunities most of the time because of the lack of privilege and money. Laissez-faire capitalism is like a predator, elitism always wins. It's not about self-victimizing, our system really sucks and you almost can't do anything about it, no matter how hard you try.
