I knew Canada was making Free Trade Agreements with Europe but i forgot what it was called Canada is trying to make free trade with China too but talks went downhill when Trudeau started bringing up labor standards and human rights. Trudeau should of sticked to the economics of it only Theres also TPP. Trudeau messed up by not showing up to last meeting. Out of the 12 Countries hes the only one who didnt show up and it put things on hold although im sure he had reasons he couldnt attend Canada has always been super dependant on trade. Imports and Exports make a huge share of our economy. Not surprising we wanna make deals with everyone I want with EU to really work. We need to diversify away from US cause they can be bullies on this stuff. They are bigger than Canada and Mexico Combined which gives them too much power: USA: $17 Trillion (population: 323M) Canada: $2 Trillion (population: 35M) Mexico: $1.2 Trillion (Population: 127M) Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
