I'm such a fan, but Eminem is a sold-out nowadays, I can't. He used to be cool and I loved how he mocked all those cute-excuses of artists back in the day, but Walk On Water and his Trump diss track are bad. I wan't the old Eminem back, why all my faves have changed so much?!? :cryga:Ā

I'm sure most Gaga stans aren't as snobby as many Eminem fans are. The ones in the op clearly felt any pop Act is beneath him. If they're not satisfied with Beyoncé, Pink or Rihanna then, they would've complained about any pop Act brought on.

Id bet my bottom dollar these people are ignorant frat type trashĀ that feel they're above those "*** pop stars".Ā

True but I was responding to the users apparent surprise that people "care". All of this isn't really relevant to what I said.

Also Gaga definitely has snobby fans lol you've been on this site long enough to know that

He sold out tbh. He was always rude and has a super unlikable attitude yet I respected him for his talent and uniqueness. Now he sold out is old and over. Think I'll put him with Oldonna on my oldies black list.

I did say "most". I know there's some snobby fans here but I have a hard time Imagining there's as many snobby fans on GGD

Well I guess it's not different from fans of Lady Gaga feeling upset about her choice of a more country-influenced album than a purely pop one, so I can understand them.

Idk seems kind and weird to generalise aĀ fanbase based off of a fewĀ tweets in general, I guess that's kind of my point. I bet a lot of his fans will still be into this.Ā

The tracklist is indeed a big shock. Eminem was always an artist who stood on his own two feet for the most part, which I always gave him crazy respect for, especially as features became all too common over time with rappers. But I feel that he fears his time is up now and needs new, current names to bolster him up so he stands a chance to make any level of sales. I found it ironic when Pink brought up on the Graham Norton Show recently that she admired his work ethic for always working with the same people...and now he's about to drop an album filled where he's never worked with 7 out of 8 featured artists. But at least it sounds like he's going to provide a serious track with Pink that he alluded to a while back (that Revenge song on Pink's album was the biggest let down but clearly, she wanted the collab on her album to be more fun). I've never seen an Eminem album where he features so many women. Usually, there's only one at most. 5 out of 8 features being women is more like a pop album. Come to think of it, a lot of the songs sound like pop song titles. Going to be a different experience, that's for sure.

I just suddenly thought: imagine if Gaga released a new album with collabs on it consisting of Ed Sheeran, The Chainsmokers, Adam Levine, Katy Perry, Madonna and Sam Smith? And basically every other person who'd bad mouthed her or done her wrong in the eyes of her fans? This forum might actually break!

Mostly because there's no rappers on the album except Eminem himself. Ā Also the majority of the producers aren't even hip hop producers except Rick Rubin. Ā He's the only good producer. Ā Dre is only executive producing, not sure if he has cooked up any beats for the album. Ā At least an artist like Kanye's features on his albums are mostly rappers and R&B artists. Ā Judging from the features and the producers, this looks to be more of a pop album than a rap album. Ā So all in all the majority of GGD twinks will call the songs a bop followed by the Britney gif of her sucking a lollipop.Ā
