Robo Ga 15,278
Are you saying successful albums with the absence of any standout singles? Because if so, your example of The Fame doesn't work. Lemonade by Beyonce is a good example of a successful album without any super successful singles. (Formation is debatable). Overall, I would prefer this... a successful album over a successful single. An example of a successful single with a non-successful album is ZAYN with Pillowtalk. Great song, trash album. Ultimately, I'd like to appreciate a full body of work over a buzz-worthy single. I would say that Joanne is a great album without any truly successful singles. 🤖⚡️
weed 72,834
Can you have a successful album without successful singles? Lemonade fits I feel like but what else? 1989, The Fame, 21, spawned multiple massive singles lmao

ESPECIALLY in the streaming age. Just look at this year's Grammy noms for examples. SZA's Ctrl, Awaken My Love Childish Gambino, Melodrama Lorde, 444 Jay Z. I was meant to say that successful albums mean you will have those album sales but the singles won't do good.... at the back means there are more albums. ordinarynam1310 2,453
Successful singles with an good album to back it up. I mean you can't really draw people's attention to buy the album unless you have a hit, even how good the album might be
