Also, Trump’s impeachment isn’t necessarily the end goal. Anyone who colluded with an adversary foreign government should be charged. This is about the integrity of our nation’s institutions and our faith in them working for us.

Is there actually a possibility of Trump being impeached, realistically? Educate me The following situation is dawning: Mr. Mueller will soon present the facts according to which Mr. Trump asked Mr. Flynn to contact Russian ambassador before inauguration. Mr. Flynn, on behalf of the president-elect, asked Russian ambassador to not be mad at the most recent sanctions President Obama introduced against Russia, to not respond to them agressively. Additionally, Mr. Flynn asked Russian ambassador to block the UN Security Council resolution which condemned Israel settlement expansion. What is bad about this situation for President Trump? Flynn's testimony will mean that Donald Trump had been conducting American foreign policy before he officially took office, which is sort of illegal. Only the President can do that, not the President-Elect. So far, there are no reports that Flynn will say that Trump or anybody from Trump's circle had cooperated with Russians to arrange the DNC hacking or that someone from Trump's team had cooperated with Russians on the issues of the campaign. Moreover, Trump can actually deny that Flynn was acting on his behalf when he was talking to Russian ambassador. Trump may say it was Flynn's initiative, and if there is nobody who witnessed that talk between Trump and Flynn, neither will be able to prove anything. But conducting American foreign policy before taking the office is illegal anyway, so this gives the ground to press charges against illegal foreign policy conduct. No talk of treason or anything like that (so far).
