Check dutch media. Fake ****ing news. The account he just retweeted three times is that of the deputy leader of Britain First who has been charged for verbally attacking a woman (in front of her kids, for being muslim). Britain First are a tiny, largely ignored, deeply hateful and racist group who tweet videos of brown people celebrating winning cricket matches with captions implying they're cheering terrorism. The only member of parliament murdered in Britain since the height of the IRA troubles of the 80s, was MP Jo Cox who in 2016 was shot and stabbed by a supporter of Britain First, shouting "Britain First". As useless as this feels to write, the United States President sets the tone, not just in the US, but his sentiment is heard and echoes across the globe. He is emboldening bigots everywhere. This tacit approval, this promotion of people preying on legitimate fears and concerns is not ok. It cannot become the new normal. It's easy to find and publish videos that demonize any group of people: soldiers, police, feminists, women using kids as ploys, Asians, white Africans, black Africans, pro lifers, pro choices, animal rights activisits. Like I said. Legitimate concerns. Yes, there are good reasons why rapid migration of people from parts of the world where customs and beliefs are at complete odds with western values causes issues. By all means have grown-up conversations about the reality of the present day, about integration, rate of migration, radicalisation, isolation, prevalence of sharia believers, fgm, homophobia etc. But Trump, Trump is simply inciting hatred. Blind, emotional, rage and hatred. We already have a massive spike in hate crimes in the UK. This is ****ed up. It's not inconsequential bull. Of course the media over hype their response. It seems like the impression created is as follow : when you are a muslim, it would be justifiable for you to bully others. The vile acts done by them would be totally justifiable and people would be called racist/anti-muslim when they condemn the muslims. *i came from a place where muslims were alright to show racism against the minorities, treating them as 2nd class citizens and no ****ing media around the world condemned these acts. PLUS, go and watch this video. in some cases, THEY are indeed above the law. u are a great example of being brain washed to believe news against muslims are fake news, the opposite would be real news.
