Most anticipated games of 2018

I'm SUPER excited for God of War, Detroit and Spider Man. 

I'm gonna check out the others I'm not familiar with the names.

And yes I agree, the lore is just out of control at this point. I'm sure not even the creators are able to follow it at this point. They really needed to wrap it up neatly and finish it the right way years ago, then moved on to the next project. Nothing pisses me off more than when I love something, and the creators take it to the extremes and go all crazy and make it silly and unbelievable.

At least I learned my lessons from it, I won't make the same mistake twice. If they start throwing out another bunch of sidegames after KH3 I will not not buy them, but wait until they get rerelased anyways

Yes, I hate it so much when they just add stuff to the story, but no end is in sight. When you play the two main games it is a pretty straight forward story. The only side game storylines that are important come from Chain of Memories, Birth By Sleep and maaaaybe Dream Drop Distance, but everything else... nah

The PS4 1TB was pretty cheap this black friday at $200 (AT LEAST IN THE US)

Honestly, it has me so pressed that if I could torrent their games I would.

I was just waiting patiently for KH3 last year when they decided to tell us that you have to play KH2.8 to understand the story of KH3. Like are you f.ucking kidding? Am I dramatic to say that that feels like extortion to me? "Oh you've been waiting for the third installment? Well now you have to play this spinoff to understand the third installment. Oh and to understand this spinoff (2.8), you have to play the other spinoff (Birth By Sleep)." Could they be more desperate to sell games?

Don't worry, you are not wrong at all.

You can't play the main games without the spinoffs, which is so wrong. If you could at least play them without, there would be less controversy around it. For example, I can watch the Star Wars (main) movies without watching spin-offs, reading books & comics etc. They make it not necessary to care about this stuff, it is a nice addition to the background, but it's not required.
Birth by Sleep could have had that function, with a few words from a character they could have easily give the player a few infos in following games so that you don't need to play it, but can do it to know more. But they don't do that, because with every game they create more and more story, moving on all the time. I can see KH3 jumping into the action immediately, without further explaination.

There is this ongoing inside joke in the fandom, that people who only played the main games will be so confused when KH3 is released, but honestly, this is exactly what could go horribly wrong
