Should LG6 be Pop or ARTPOP?

I posted this reply in another topic, but i would love to hear what you guys think about LG6.

The only way that I want LG6 to be ARTPOPs little sister is if she ventures into different genres, like ARTPOP but with Trap, Rock, Funk. 

Keep everything dance oriented, but rooted in another genre. 

She always does great in R&B, and I know that she can do rock. The arena rock sound of MANiCURE and the sound of Diamond Heart works great with her. At the end of the day MANiCURE would be a better fit for the general public. 

I love the Trance vibes of So Happy I Could Die and ARTPOP. I don' think a straight EDM record would be best for her. Maybe ease back into it? Be light with it.

If we want radio success, stuff like The Cure is what she needs to put out.

So, for an album that would benefit the fans and general public, i think something that feels like this would be best

She could have a few features, like Rihanna on a trap song, Bruno Mars on a funk song, Beyonce because we need the 2nd coming. It's cliche, and obvious, but would that be terrible for another radio friendly and general public loving album that keeps us on top?

 

I feel like going right from Joanne to ARTPOP would be too much for us. I'l take it, because ARTPOP is honestly the most underrated album ever, but I also don't want Gaga to get backlash and hate again. She did so great the last 2 years, and I don't want to lose that momentum with ARTPOP's little sister ;p

I want something straight-forward, but not necessarily anything she's ever done before so...

banking on some nice industrial/R&B/shoegaze brilliance.

She’s not going back to EDM, it’s most likely going to be a pop album but done her own way, with her own ‘formulas’ for great songs aka stuttering, catchy choruses, hooks, sweet melodies, a message. She is hungry too for a hit era and everything she has done so far was to get back in the graces of the GP. She now knows what to do and what not do to. She knew going from ARTPOP to another pop album wouldn’t do much good for her, she had to prove her talent, she had to put aside the so called ‘gimmicks’ to show she’s actually a talented artist and that’s what she’s been doing with C2C and Joanne. And ya’ll who say she doesn’t have a good marketing team or that Bobby is a flop don’t even realise how smart they are but you will next era when she’s literally going to dominate.

I'd want her to go back to pop music, but I'd love for her to go deep into RnB (Do What U Want), or stuff that isn't trendy nowadays.

And also, as a parallel, Katy is in danger, she needs a reinvetion to survive this industry especially because of how fast it is changing. Gaga was extremelly smart for doing what she did after ARTPOP, but idk what Katy can pull out of her bag to keep afloat. Her relevancy will slowly die down each era from now on especially since she never was a trend setting artist or very influencel. She was just a follower of the industry and a very good one but not somebody people could remember for being some kind of inovator or genuis of pop music like Gaga.

In a sense, yes. ARTPOP was loud, every song was influenced by a different genre. It was bold.

I love when she does R&B. It's always a stand out for me. I think whatever she does, like always, will be rooted in pop.

I love when she does R&B inspired songs like Do What U Want and The Cure so I'd be happy to see that happen but they're taking it to the next level so I'm not expecting anything like ARTPOP. DJWS is a very versatile producer so there's really no way to predict his next sound and Gaga is changing things all the time so lets just wait and see what they come up with.

Gaga has grown so much as an artist with Cheek To Cheek and Joanne so I'm very curious to see what she'd do next. I highly doubt she'd go back to what The Fame or ARTPOP sounded like.
