I hope IW is different, but I’ve been fairly unimpressed with their films the past few years. That’s coming from someone who is also a huge comic fan. For instance, controversial opinion, but I hated GotG and thought Justice League was more fun than the sequel (I’m not calling JL a particularly good film, mind you.) Hated Civil War, every Thor was awful or boring to me, and Guardians never does anything for me. Also Iron Man really only had one good movie lol the first two Cap films are great imo and Avengers 1 was solid, 2...needed work but was not terrible. Didn’t see Antman but I hear that was good! From the way they do it, it seems to me that either Black Panther or Captain Marvel will fill Iron Man role after Infinity War. It’s really good but only if you like her character. If you don’t like WW you won’t lkke the movie. She’s my absolute favorite hero so seeing her on-screen was great (even if it had an awful third act lol). BvS was terrible, full stop lol I ranted with my older cousin about this over Thanksgiving. The slo-mo definitely bothered me, too, but I think I was too enamored watching one of my faves on screen to care lol. As for the over-acting...lord, Ares was terrible. Here’s hoping Cheetah is the villain in the sequel as that could really yield better results all around. She’s WAY more interesting than Ares and the costume potential...oh man.
