I'm bored :selena:, so tell me who took home the Main 3 + Best New Artist awards at the Grammy Awards of your birth year?

Also, tell me (youloveme.mp3) who you thought should've won!

Record of the Year: Santana - "Smooth" | Who should've won: Backstreet Boys - "I Want It That Way

Album of the Year: Santana - "Supernatural87857503.jpg

Song of the Year: Santana - "Smooth" | Who should've won: TLC - "Unpretty" or Shania Twain - "You've Got a Way"

Best New Artist: Christina Aguilera 441d573d8d399634c799de89e0122d44--new-ar

What year was I born in? :reductive:

Santana was huge that year. He really was everywhere, and deserved his grammies.

You’ve got a way is my favourite of the songs though. But it didn’t really make that much of an impact.

a jazz/pop artist; talent

Talented, but her songs make me wanna hang myself. Still she’s the best of her “competitors” for ROTY who were Vanessa Carlton, Nelly and Nickleback. A terrible year for pop music.
