If you do, it shows more about you than anything the songwriting on "Smooth" is a bit lackluster to me though. although, it was released when I was born, so I wouldn't know the amount of impact it had at the time. Like, someone could look back at the 1984 Grammy's and think that Michael Jackson's "Thriller" should've gone to the Flashdance soundtrack; not knowing the amount of impact 'Thriller' had/has. idk, IWITW sounds better to me In terms of lyrics, 'Smooth' doesn't serve the same justice for me like "Unpretty" or "You've Got a Way" chase your big, beautiful dreams Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
