Because the song is pretty bad, why would anyone watch a video for a song nobody is here for? :reductive:

I personally think anyone who calls a song trash is disrespectful. Taste differs, and you wind up making yourself just look rude and tacky.

On topic, I love Praying and loved the video, but the song isn’t promoted very much and the video itself is long.

but who from GP knows "praying"?
I think it's a hit for people interested in pop music. Million Reasons is better known to GP than "Praying"

You can’t say that. Going off the data we have, Praying has surpassed Million Reasons in every format available.

Statistically speaking, people should be able to recognize Praying more than Million Reasons.

Dont get me wrong. Million Reasons did very well; however, you can’t say the GP knows MR better than Praying, when all sources prove Praying has been doing better than MR.

Million Reasons was also performed at the Super Bowl, so yes, people might be able to recognize the song from that. But here in Canada, Praying has been on power rotation in Vancouver since day one. It’s most likely the same in other cities across the country, too.

The week before Million Reasons went #4, it wasn’t even on the chart. After that week at #4, it fell to #18, and then fell to #30 afterwards. It charted in the top 100 for 20 non-consecutive weeks. Even fell off four times.

Praying is about to spend its 20th WEEK in the top 30 on BB100. It hasn’t left the chart once.

I’m sorry, but you’re picking and choosing data, but ignoring the over-all picture.

Because songs geared towards adult pop audiences dont do well on youtube. Youtube is watched mostly by kids and teenagers on repeat. I myself will watch a video once then rarely a second time. But when i was younger i lotterally watched the telephone video on a loop :selena:

i love kesha tho she deserves all the love :kara:
