They may do some of the dirtiest jobs but the statement that Americans are lazy is still totally false. Americans work a ton of hours.

You know, Trump won't actually cancel NAFTA. I don't see that happening. The economic damage would be immense. But in all honesty NAFTA is a bit too well-negotiated by Bill Clinton, e.g. on agriculture, farmers in Southern US stole the jobs of rural Mexico which pretty much directly led to the drug war there. And getting an even better deal for the US would have negative consequences in some other way, because a bad situation on the border with Mexico is bad for the US too. And Canada is way too intertwined with the US in a number of ways for the GOP in Congress to just let him pull out of NAFTA.. that would cost a lot of jobs and negatively impact the US's investments for a long time.

It is too intertwined. Even imports from the US (or US imports from Canada) could be made of parts from the other Country so cutting that import would mean a loss of exports in affiliation with that same product. The auto industry is a big example

 

I hope ur right that GOP will prevent that... cuz the damage would be pretty big...

Here in Canada its 36.6 a week 👀. The higher number could be that we have a higher labor force participation rate than most Countries tho including the US.

 

I myself work 50. I hate it but i love the over-time pay

Im not that articulated to explain economics in english, but i have seen also the huge impact it have between Mexico/USA since USA imports a lot of **** from Mex., specially the states from the borders, idk how TRUMP and his team thinks ending with NAFTA is going to benefit his country, but whatever

I get it, it's understandable that seeing our current president and the hate of his base could make a person think negatively of our country. Our country has some serious **** going on. 

But I guarantee that many of my fellow Americans have nothing but love and support for ur country and others. Trump's approval rating is in the 30s which means only about a third of Americans support his toxic hatred and policies. He lost the popular vote by over 3 million votes, it was only an old antiquated system that gave him the presidency, not the popular will of the public.

The average reduces by anyone that doesnt work tho im sure the official number is less

 

Most People i know work at least 40 but the Canadian average is 36.6 so anyone who doesnt brings down the average a lot

No. Im pretty familiar with Europe having lived there and know statistics well keeping up with it. The state of their economy as a whole i dont think is worth working a little less

 

Here in Canada average hours worked is 36.6 a week. More than USA and one of the highest in the world and a stable economy shows for it
