It's bc they changed it up and tried to look serious, while we all know they are in fact artistically empty and well, money making machines, not real musicians. No one wants songs like this from them.

Watch them coming up with their usual trash with the next single and the gp will be all over them.

No, they're not. Tell me, how successful is a song that has 700M views? How much "success" does a song get for f.e. 10M views? There is no answer that could be applied to all of the songs. 

The song is successful and the video has many views but the song would be as big as it is now even if it had 500M fewer views on youtube.

Now, I'm not really getting what you're trying to say so I'll put it in a simple way - the question was about the views - that crossed 700 M or whatever - and if that means the song is a hit. You answered the views are not an indicator of a success. I replied that in this case they are bc the song is successful and has lots of views. There's really nothing more to it. It's not a rocket science.
