Well, their faves, at least some of them, have songs that are streamed 500 million times  on Spotify and have multiple 1 billion plus YouTube videos. So, yeah, there's a balance. Not that I care that much, Gaga is above them talent wise anyway.

at the end of the day those numbers are irrelevant in real life and the only use they have is for bragging purposes in stan culture.

I wouldn't say absolutely no staying power, but it definitely isn't the end all, be all. It would also help if it's remembered enough to be put on playlists of a decade or of the best of its genre. BR for example benefits from being in the Pop 00s playlist.
