Let’s just wait for the confirmation how big the deal actually is. There are many conflicting reports, some of them saying the 100M$ is „way way off”. I would like to think she’s getting her money for this but let’s just wait.

We are too engulfed in stan culture to see reality sometimes. I’ve heard it all day on the radio as well and I’ve had friends who are not fans coming up to me and texting me. The GP isn’t talking negatively at all about this.

as i said in a different thread, 

shes not eyeing pop superstardom anymore, she doesn’t care about being #1 and she shouldn’t. she’s following Tony’s advice at eyeing longevity over churning out little quick hit singles and touring forever..

shes done catering completely to 8-17 year olds and is looking for a more older broader appeal, one where she knows the 18-55 year olds can save up or have the money to travel to see her, buy the albums and keep her going as a performer, she’s been doing it since Joanne started.

Why is the media so interested in the residency? It’s one of the things I’ve been least interested in Gaga doing since AHS.

The media and GP all seem behind her on this. 

Stans need to let go of the view that Vegas is bad, for washed up pop stars, for retirement, chained to Vegas. It all isn't true and it's a bit ridiculous. A string of shows a handful of times a year will do nothing but improve her brand. The rest of career will happen as planned. Literally nothing will change about the planned roll outs she has coming next year.
