I don't like how people assume that during the 2 years contract Gaga won't do anything else. To me the Vegas Residency sounds more like a side project where she can decide more or less when she is doing the concerts and she will build the Residency legs around the other things she has planned.

I have the feeling a new album will come in autumn then she will go to Vegas for 10-12 shows in December and then she starts touring outside of the US first in 2019 with gaps in between of course.

What he's saying, imo, that it's a rare opportunity to see a stadium act do her thing up close and personal. That it's worth seeing just for that alone.
