Well, tbh we've had two pop eras according to your definition of it (mine is different and Joanne is a full on pop era - it had big promo ww, has music videos, performances and yes, it was pop music) - BTW and ARTPOP and neither was as successful and TF/TFM and it was due to many issues during the both of them. 

What @Kara Brasil said was accurate to some extent, sadly. Tho I will wait, just like you. She's def lacking in streaming, YouTube and radio, but I'm sure they will try to fix that.

I have to say I was also totally against the Vegas thing before I knew the details. And when you hear two years... Yeah sounds really bad cuz its a long time.

BUT 70 shows in two years? Like 35 shows per year? For a 100M $? Please, ANYONE would accept that.

And as many said before me, she can do sooo many other things while having the residency, it's not like she just signed a 9-5 job, 5 days per week

Not that it matters or that it is the  point of your post but the $100 M thing is not confirmed and was reported as being way off.

There's no correct report so far. I saw 100 million, 75 million, 400k per show and 14 million
