I don't bother with people who say that.

It's easily one of the best selling female solo singles in the past few years. I don't think there's any point in even arguing it. Numbers speak louder than words.

It's just like when people try saying Joanne wasn't a big hit, even though they're hard pressed to find female albums sans Taylor that have sold more since.

it's because they only look at Hot 100 positions like

for them only streaming and radio matter now.

Which will be the truth very soon, but for now, selling 1M is impressive so I don't understand them

It's like saying that MR was a flop WW, when it has several certs WW. even a 2x plat in Italy.
