In anything with Taylor involved, the trophy goes to the other one, even if it were Selena Whisper Queen Gomez :awkney:

Katy just has so many pop qualities Taylor could never possess. A decent* voice being one of them.

*Decent = mediocre, passable, not totally terrible

:sharon: That. Gif. I. Can’t.

Also, I couldn’t put a “none option” cause that would easily win the poll. I figured the scenario would be more interesting if one had to choose between these vocal legends.

Honestly, truly, I can't find one single reason that distinguishes one over the other. They are both weak vocalists with one or two good performances and a few terrible ones. Impossible to vote on this one :selena:

Taylor has better low notes. Which is surprising for a light soprano

Katy has better mid-belts (still Taylor are nice)

Both fragile on upper-belt but Taylor can growl an E5 and she can sustain an Eb5 for 7 seconds so Taylor wins!

Maybe tone? Do you prefer the tone of one’s voice over the other?:selena:

No :selena: again, both have songs I like, songs I don't... Their voice is quite neutral to me I think.

I think 1989 is a better pop album than any Katy's album (which might have some good songs, but are always full of fillers. 1989 barely has a filler). But in terms of voice, they're pretty much the same.
