Bradley 59,157
I loved the episode, I enjoyed it more than the Murder House episode, which was well directed but the story revolved around Michael killing people and growing up faster than the normal rate, which we already knew. Also Constance, Ben and Vivien basically were there to explain backstory on Michael so essentially they were just providing their 'voice' rather than physical acting. I think this episode is much more interesting than the one Sarah directed. At least we see a lot of Cody Fern, who is one of the best male talents in AHS. Also OMG when Venable was insulting the errand-girl, she reminded me so much of The Countess. I just wish Venable was a fully developed character in an actual standalone season. Denis O'Hare still hasn't shown up yet.. Denis O’Hare as Liz in Hotel was iconic and my fave character from the whole series by a lot
gag 22,449
Yeah this episode definitely did not need to take up 45 minutes but it was fine for what it was. I couldn't stop thinking about how I wished they got a better actor to play Michael. Like I'm sure Cody is a nice person but the beginning scenes where he was on the ground were rough... he's fantastic at the quiet-evil thing but he can't do big emotions at all. headspin, happiness, DE̤̣A̢̯͔̘T͏͙̗̟̫H̗̙͡ͅ

It wasn't terrible, but it was "here's the explanation for robot meade" stretched the whole time. I liked the selling-soul-getting-anything-but-v-specifically storyline, and Ms Venable's history, but come on... 38 minutes w/o commercials w almost no plot growth.. ridiculoso And it just added another loophole; the robot Mead didn't remember Michael in Ep 3 (iirc that's the right episode) but the first thing she says at the end of Ep 8 "How I've missed you, Michael." So...? Do they erase her memory for some reason in Ep 9 or 10? 俺の勝利は揺るぎない

VoldeLorde2 8,389
My grandmother just told me that she doesn't like this season as much as the others because she can't follow the storyline. I think it's because it's still in flash back and she can't tell which is which because I'm watching Coven with her this week too.

Yes, he has the bone structure of a bad boy but when it comes to cry and express his more "human" side, he acts very forced and visibly fake. tryna go ask Alice, tryna catch that rabbit
Young Pancake 693
I’m actually enjoying this season very much. In my opinion the last good season that I enjoyed this much was Assylum and I know that’s been a while but it has kept me coming for more in the hopes of a good season. Hotel was okay and my bias towards Gaga kept me interested. Now the last two season (Roanoke and Elections), they were such a drag to watch but I did anyways. This season is actually good and it doesn’t feel like a chore. In regards to the timeline, I love it. We know what it’s going to happen but what we don’t know it’s how we got there. The show is focusing more on the later point that on the first. The build up to the finale which will be the battle between Michael and the witches has been slow but steady. I don’t think the battle needs more than 20 minutes, even 20 minutes is too much when you compare to the final battle scenes of action movies. So we till got next episode and half of the sat one to address some of the plot holes that we have. This last episode was good and I don’t understand the hate. We no wonder know how Mead 2.0 was created and how Michael found his way into the Apocalypse. Michael was lost and that’s why he was looking for answers from his dad in the woods. However, when he found the satanist he knew what the next step was which was to clear out the earth’s population and start over. He is probably getting helped to destroy the world by the two guys who created Mead 2.0.

The last "plot hole" discussed in this thread (Michael not being able to bring Mead back) was literally answered in the first scene of this episode. If Coco, Mallory and Dinah's memories were all erased (for reasons still unknown), they will probably answer why Mead's was as well. headspin, happiness, DE̤̣A̢̯͔̘T͏͙̗̟̫H̗̙͡ͅ

Meredith Grey 3,157
honestly this episode wasn’t the greatest (and this is by FAR my favorite season so far. There hasn’t been an episode until this one i had any sort of complaints about). I do think that this episode was necessary though because they had to show how Michael met the Cooperative and such and if they didn’t do it this way people would feel as if the episode was rushed. Besides, judging from next week’s trailer it’s going to be pretty insane.
