Here's a fabulous idea. Stop talking about numbers and celebrate the outcome of the vote.

F**k sake.

Your response and tone is very unwarranted

I'm sorry my cynicsm turned this thread into a mess :awkney:

I love you :sara:

I just am just saying the public at large is more ignorant than it seems :poot:

Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Be kind. Always.

Doesn't surprise me that New South Wales, the so-called gay capital and home of the Mardi Gras, had the lowest Yes vote. But i'm still so so happy it's a Yes! Thank you NSW and Australia for doing the right thing and following your heart! ❤️✌🏻️😎

Well sorry if I'm a proud LGBTQ Australian who's over the moon about the result concerning my rights, just to come into a topic where someone who isn't even Australia, too busy focused on numbers basically not giving a sh*t.

So literally go away, I couldn't give a sh*t.

You really this worked up over someone caring about statistics?

Eligible voters, not voters

Well of course, but I’d like to know of the people who can actually form a coherent thought/opinion, which is generally the majority population excluding young children, super elderly, mentally disabled, but at times incapable of voting/responding due to jobs, school, inaccesability or being under the voting age.

But, Im assuming since this is a survey done by mail, it was open to anyone, regardless of age?

It was open to everyone on the electoral roll. So anyone who can legally vote. So 18 and over.

Okay. Nevermind then. So around 80% elligible voted and 61% of them voted yes? why did someone in the the thread say 49%?

Guys can we just stop the drama and start the celebration :awkney:

We're one step closer to a really good thing, let's not ruin the moment by arguing :kara:
