I don't like Taylor and it's not because of her music or because she is selling a lot, it's because she is just plain not a good person. Period. I am actively not listening or watching anything she releases cause she is someone I definitely don't want to support.

I don't like her new music compared to her past works. I was a fan of hers.

And please stop the stigma that once you "hate" a successful artist, it automatically means that you are jealous that your fave doesn't have her success.

Because Taylor is doing exactly what they wanted Gaga to do. Because they have double standards.

They claim Gaga's numbers are the best given the era we live in, and that no one in pop music can pull great numbers (without streaming) but Taylor is proving them wrong.

Taylor is doing super expensive, full of special effects, full of symbolisms, music videos, and Gaga is doing messy videos, when she's doing them.

They claim Gaga is doing fine, that she's doing her thing, that Gaga is the one who's right and honest because she toned down her image, her performances or her music, they say music not the bling, but in the end she's just someone who doesn't care, while Taylor still cares. And little monsters hate that.

but honestly it doesn't make sense to me people that don't like her music just because shes not a advocate for the causes you like. music is music, nothing can change that. if its good music I don't care if its the devil singing it

I have a balanced opinion of her. I think that she's a terrible person and role model, full stop. Her feminism and outlook on life that she has shown in her music is incredibly immature and sometimes just flat out mean and petty. With that said, I can acknowledge that on past albums she has written some good songs. She's quite talented even if it isn't music that I like very much. So I don't hate her, I've never met her so how could I? But this is also not a new feeling or anything (had problems with her since her country days lol) and I do think she is a very talented songwriter. I'm not jealous or anything, I just don't like how she so brazenly acts through her privilege and entirely denies it at every turn rather than consider her behavior a bit.

I don't hate her. But I simply cannot see what's there to like about her.

Perhaps I come across as salty because it kinda frustrates me that I really cannot see one single redeeming quality whatsoever in her.
Normally with most musicians that I dislike I can sort of see their appeal, and I'm like "Yeah, it's not for me, but I get it." With Taylor Swift, however, I have realized that I'm simply incapable of figuring out what the ever loving f*ck other people see in her and could remotely appreciate about her generic, bland, cookie-cutter mediocre self. Simply put, I just don't get it.
And yes, this frustrates me. And the more praise she receives, the more out of the loop I feel, and the more frustrated I become.

Do not generalize Little Monsters. For me, Joanne is light years better than Reputation, and I honestly don't want Gaga to make pointless and unsubstantial CGI-filled music videos, even though I'm not a fan of Joanne MVs.
