I was a little nervous I wouldn't like the album but I pre-ordered it anyway (and purchased 1989 and several other albums to add to my music collection as well, I own 112 albums right now ). Different reviews have different weights. Slant gave it an 80, but since Slant is usually a harder to please publication, there 80 is counted as actually around an 85 in the metacritic formula.
