Question about lining up with CTM tickets

When getting to the venue, do they give you a number to come back, or do you stay the entire day outside in line? I am going to the D.C. show and I heard a lot of people are lining up at 10 am. (I have CTM tix, but I want to be in front row.)

I think it might depend on the venue. I was just at the detroit show tonight, and I went there at 3 pm, and they gave me a wristband with a number on it, and they told us (the CTM people) to wait in a special line. But you were able to get out of line to go to the bathroom/ buy stuff while lining up, but just make sure that you are there when they let you in. (Around 4:40)

There's like an hour and a half inside the building and outside the venue, and they take 10 people at a time to use the bathroom, so don't worry about that.

People will possibly be lining up from the early hours of the morning to get front row.

They'll also probably establish their own number system and tell security there's numbers in place. 

If you want front row, don't get there at a usual time for a concert.
