I feel like you would feel the same way she feels if you’ve had to work your way to where she’s at since you were a teenager, I personally would have sued, because it’s my business, it’s my brand, it’s my name being thrown in the trash & I’d think that I worked really hard to get to where I’m at and articles like these can gain traction and cost you your career

Same could be said about the fact that neo-nazis and white-supremacists are using her to further their own agenda, why the hell wouldn’t you want to eliminate their link to your brand??

I mean, is it because Taylor and her team know that they will lose thousands of fans/followers if she denounced anything white-supremacist-related because her fan base is largely Caucasian? Could it be that she just don’t care about such important issues? Who knows! Only she knows why she reacts the way that she does.  Either way, I just don’t understand why she can’t distance herself from such people and instead attempts to sue an obscure company for bringing light to this matter :toofunny:

They are not linking her to a terrible movement. The terrible movement has linked ITSELF to Taylor Swift in a very public and shameless manner, and the article questioned why Taylor has not spoken about that happening and urged her to comment.

but if the same article questioned why Gaga hasn't spoken about her link to rapists and molesters, then we'd be singing a different tune

Articles have been written about Gaga working with R. Kelly and Terry Richardson. The difference is Lady Gaga has since, and continues, to speak out for assault victims and raise awareness. So, it’s not exactly the same thing.

I’m so done with taylor like ughh

make a stand against everything bad going wrong and maybe u won’t be labeled Ike that. But of course her image and money r more important to her than the well being of those that the right are prejudice against.

The article may not be accurate, but that’s only because she’s so opaque when it comes to her opinions about things other than herself.

While it’s not really her fault that she inspires these racist neo nazis, it just takes one sentence  to dismantle the entire chain of support. She is perceived to share the same values, and perception is a powerful thing.

We wouldn't, because Gaga wouldn't threaten to sue the publication. We wouldn't be singing at all. She wouldn't create this kind of problem.

And Taylor has shown support for the LGBT community, which clearly doesn't match the neo-nazi theory.

so, yeah, it is kind of the same thing.

Not really. Lady Gaga uses specific words to condemn rapists. If Taylor Swift used specific words to condemn racists this article never would have been written and I highly doubt white supremecisfs would feel empowered by her music...

Next time, be sure to get a good stretch in before you reach that far.

You know you are considered to be a bit of a greedy Person when people aren’t surprised that you plan on suing somebody!

C’mon Taylor. Just walk away and get on with your life for a change

She shouldn’t have too, she’s an entertainer, some people just don’t like to be so outspoken. It’s not a crime to not go and tweet something. & she shouldn’t have to come out and say she’s not a white supremacist, because the only reason people are using that against her is because she’s a very famous and very successful white entertainer .

Gaga didn't go out suing everyone who published articles with fake pictures saying "LADY GAGA IS FAT"

This is just not a legal issue. It may be, technically, but it's inane.
