It was the fact that it was abused and used as a form of harassment. Banned members would EMN every post by a mod or a member they thought reported them, others would target each other with it, stuff like that. Like, we can't have users being able to totally flood another's notifications with nonsense We were mulling it over and rather than simply including it in the reputation limitation (100 in a 24 hour period), we just decided it was best to do away with it completely. Next to no one actually complained that they found it offensive.
