I'm sorry, but you are absolutely ridiculous and are part of the problem that gives the left a bad name cause you get offended over such matters. Grow some thicker skin please, not everything is about pleasing everyone. Not everyone is ever gonna be pleased anyway, and the Canadian flag is Montreal's flag too no matter what anyone says, and will be until such time as Montreal is no longer apart of Canada.

Same goes for Barcelona. Spanish flag will continue to be the flag for all of Spain including Barcelona.

you sound pretty nativist, especially defending a country and culture known for imperialism and colonialism. What about the native languages of indigenous people's from across Canada? Did France not make it their mission to wipe out native languages and cultures as they colonized the Caribbean and Africa? 

Not to mention there were definitely thousands of people who traveled to that show who were not from Montreal and don't ascribe to French culture. She quiet literally looked at the flag for a good 3 seconds, picked it up, held it up, and I believe gave it back to the girl. 

That is a very dangerous (and trump-ian) way to think about culture and the country your from.  

Also curious if you went to this show or you just saw the one picture.

You're just being extra, as a Canadian citizen from Montréal you have 2 official flags. Deal with it or ask independence.

That's a problem ! They're invaded by english-speaking people from other province that refuse to accept and assimilate the local culture. Speaking the language of the place you live in should be your #1 priority
