I think she just needs some more practice. If what she says about her childhood is really true (and I believe so), she got to a pretty high level. The thing with piano is if you go just 6 months without practicing on a daily basis, you lose almost all your flexibility and speed

I've always wanted Gaga to do more of this. Could you imagine her doing a classical piece at the Grammys? ugh, that would be a amazing. Even a lot of her fans don't know much about her piano skills.

Are you guys seriously judging her skills based on this? She probably hasn't played this piece in years. Of course its messy. Also, we can't even tell when she is playing vs the other guy and they are playing parts at the same time which further increases the messines because they aren't properly coordinated.

Gaga isn't the best singer, the best dancer, the best actor or the best pianist ... who cares really ? What she does as a whole, not many people can do. Her incredible success really boils down to her work ethic and attitude. 

If we put in all the negative energy and bitterness into doing something, we all might get somewhere in life ... Just something to think about.

Agreed.

No shade to any artists here, but someone like Madonna is a jack of all trades, master of none. Someone like Beyonce is a master of performing, Lorde is a master at songwriting, Kelly Clarkson is a master of singing, etc.

Lady Gaga is a master of none, but not a jack of all trades either. More like a queen or king of all trades.

I haven't heard her play piano that well since... that bit of Beethoven during Born This Way at the Grammys in 2011? Maybe even before that during TF era when she used to do the dramatic Paparazzi piano intro.  Good to see gal still has it in her! Slay that Maple Leaf Rag off the top of your head with no sheet music
