Context: Bernies party was accusing the DNC of basically being a Clinton fund. There was a fund called the Hillary victory fund, a joint venture in between the DNC and Hillary for America. It was made to fund ALL democratic party candidates however Bernies campaign accused this fund of sending all the money collected to the HFA and not to other candidates. This is a big problem since you are not allowed to make a donation of over 27000 dollars to a candidate but you can donate as much as u want to a party.ย Bernies campaignย accused thisย fund of being a funneling system for big banks and corporations to avoid the donation limit and give more money to Clinton pretending like they were giving it to all candidatesย Back to Brazile She recounts that after she became head of the DNCย she talked to a manager of hillary's campaign that told her the DNC was broke and that Wasserman Schultz had been lying about the books and that the DNC was relying on donations by the Clinton campaign to stay over water.ย She also confirms what Bernie was saying that the Victory fund was in fact funneling over 27 million dollars to hillary alone with only crumbs being sent to other candidates.ย In another document it is also revealed that in exchange for investing in the DNC the Clinton campaign would have control of all the money raised by the DNC, the party's finances and strategy. The DNC would have to consult with the clinton campaign on all policy and for all decisions in exchange for the money. This was officially only intended to be for the General Election however the deal was signed in august of 2015 and she started to send the money around the same time. Crazy enough, none of this quasi money laundering and corruption isn't illegal, however it is highly unethical as the deck was stacked against sanders from the beginning.ย Not only financially but also Politically as the whole Democratic Party machine was in Clinton's pocket from the very beginning as she was saving it from bankruptcyย ย Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about.
