It was meant to have one foot in horror, but still have the other one in more of a fantasy adventure. That being said i really liked one of the early scenes where Mike Hanlon get's his first scare, probably the one i liked the most from a horror stand point. On top of that i liked that they had the balls to show Georgie's arm get bitten off in the opening scene.
