Even though I love the instrumentals (And the creative lyrics), I wish it had different chord progressions. You know different a introduction, pre chorus, chorus, bridge etc. Applause is the type of trend that she did with Poker Face, Alejandro, Bad Romance, and BTW. It's the sound that was super popular in 2010-2011. With that said, it could easily fit well on BTW. It's a sound Gaga has done before and wasn't anything fresh. Do you get what I'm trying to say? Do you think this was the sound Gaga officially wanted? The AP era was quite a hectic mess and I am just wondering if this was along the lines of her wishes and commands. Also do you wish it was structured differently and had a more "fresh" sound? And is Applause the sound she wanted? Get Applause & G.U.Y to 1B views!
