"In 2012, Lady Gaga collaborated with Kendrick Lamar on a track titled “Partynauseous” which was originally going to be included on good kid, m.A.A.d. city but was scrapped last minute due to creative differences with Lamar’s camp. A few years later during her tour, she repurposed the non-Kendrick-featuring parts of the songs as an interlude. "Partynauseous" sees more subdued pop fare from Gaga, who sings the hook alongside two new verses from Lamar. The beat and the rapper's flow are reminiscent of Lamar's "Swimming Pools (Drank)" and Gaga's unreleased version of "Bitch, Dont Kill My Vibe".
