Also, why was it SO underrated?? And why people hate ARTPOP, but want a ARTPOP Act. 2? I think there are a lot of fillers in the deluxe. All songs are good on their own, don't get me wrong. The Fame 3,931 Posted November 1, 2017 Share Posted November 1, 2017 I think ARTPOP suffered because people were expecting it to sound a certain way and it just didn't, and they haven't been able to get around that. It 'betrayed' their expectations. It also had a couple sketchy details surrounding it, such as a song feat. controversial R. Kelly., a missing music video, and some pretty shallow songs coming immediately after the heartfelt Born This Way (Donatella, Jewels n' Drugs, etc). One of its songs even had the same title (Fashion) as another of her songs, which is odd. All in all, I think it comes off as looking a bit 'messy' to some people, in addition to not fulfilling preconceived notions about how it would sound. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
