Even with an alright Economy and even without a recession, US deficits are projected to hit $1 Trillion annually again in as little as 3-4 years

The main Culprit is rising social security costs and medicare costs as a result of aging population as well as higher Military spending

The tax cuts Trump proposes would further hurt the situation

You can't keep cutting funding to everything and then complain that the government's programs don't work right :smh: It's so obvious that the only goal of Trump and his administration is to find a way for Trump and his friends to get more $$$ for their own bank accounts, regardless of what that does to the American people. Democrats who support successful government programs should hate these proposals. Republicans who want to lessen the national debt should hate these proposals.

Depends. Some Nations like In Europe after crisis have shrunk deficits a lot

Here in Canada our Surpluses ended in 2009 after recession but have shrunk since then to less than 1% of GDP

Thats Politics for u tho

Here in Canada the Liberals roasted the Conservatives so bad in 2008/2009 for ending the budget Surpluses and starting to run Deficits to stimulate economy

Now that the Liberals are in Power, the Liberals increased the deficit on purpose when the economy is doing much better. The deficit is still small below 1% of GDp, but they deliberately increased the deficit from almost balanced to $20 Billion!

So now its the Conservatives who complain about the same thing that the Liberals complained about then

Both doing it while in Power, both complained while in opposition :rip:

republicans in the US are on a much lower level considering during a dire economic emergency (2008/9) they did everything in their power to foil plans to stimulate a crumbling US economy. not to mention what's going on now (for example in puerto rico) where conservatives literally leave their own people to die

Many European countries have smaller population size compare to U.S.. and U.S. gets relatively higher revenue so high expenses are expected
