If I was directing a quintessential teen movie in this current decade, this song would *have* to be in the opening sequence - it just screams "anthem at the beginning of a movie" to me, which isn't a bad thing at all. This song is a complete riot, capitalizing on the middle fingers still raised from 'Bastards' and cranking it up a couple notches. I gave the song a 10, and even though out of the two I was totally #TeamLetEmTalk, making it to #2 from such a fantastic album is a feat in and of itself! Congrats!

This bop makes me not give a f*ck about anything for 3 minutes. Love it.

@Moebius [9]
A bop to end all bops.

@IndieKylie [7.5]
I would say this is the song I skip the most when I put the song on shuffle. It's not bad, but it doesn't have the same punch a lot of other songs on this album have. It's definitely a bridge between her work on Warrior and the work on Rainbow, however.

:heart: and for the winner of the RAINBOW 2017 MEGARATE :heart:

And we have a winner! In all honesty, as much as I prefer other material found on 'Rainbow' (Let 'Em Talk, Hunt You Down, Spaceship, Learn to Let Go), Praying really became that comeback song of the new decade. No one was truly sure as for what to expect when Kesha announced her return, and collectively, we were all blown away, and rightfully so: Praying is a terrific song, one that comes around only once in a blue moon. Given the context, the grueling trial, the insidious nature of Hollywood becoming less and less shrouded with each headline, Praying returned the conversation to the ultimate trial in facing one's own trauma head-on: learning to express forgiveness for those that've wronged you. And with that, Kesha won 2017. Congratulations, Praying!

@NNES [11]
best song from a pop-girl 2017!

@ZeldaJ [11]
One of the best songs of 2017, her vocals, the raw lyrics, the perfect production - makes it a Grammy worthy nomination/winner in my opinion.

@IndieKylie [10]
An incredible, yet risky, single choice. A power ballad from a former dance-pop queen? Slay me. An incredible song about forgiveness and pain, this includes some of her strongest lyrics. If this doesn't get her some Grammy nominations, I'll boycott.

No explanation needed.

@Moebius [10]
Instant love for this one. Her vocals are heavenly, and made me appreciate Kesha as an artist.

Knew it.

Let 'em Talk got Top 2 :diane: I played, and still often play, the heck out of that song. It's such a banger :diane:

Y'all knew it would be Praying, but I'm not even mad, the song is so good and worthy of that top spot :kara: Thanks for joining, and thank you for the patience, see you the next rate where we revisit Godney's best album, Circus.
