FfFfFfFF 56,089
This is going to be a controversial one. Spin about Alejandro: This is a mid-tempo, tropical song, that can be very addicting. Alejandro has a nice bunch of reworked vocals at the beginning and it has a dramatic ending. Mstars News: The songs chug along in the opening moments. Eventually, though the beat in Do What U Want drops out in favor for a funky almost tropical-inspired riff. Spin about John Wayne: It sounds like it was born as tropical house and was later fitted in a rock-country drag. Slate about Dancin' in Circles: It also genuflects to the recent tropical house trend. Muumuse about The Cure: Gaga ditched the Serious Artiste shtick (for now!) and dove headfirst into radio-friendly trop pop territory, made inescapable thanks to Major Lazer and Justin Bieber, The Chainsmokers and Kygo among others. It’s explicitly, unabashedly bandwagon-hopping, beat drop chorus-having, chipmunk noise-bearing, Top 40-sounding dance-pop.

John Wayne 4,505
Again you put songs in the wrong genre. The only two songs from her WHOLE discography that are tropical inspired are DIC and Cure.

The similarity should be due to the fact that DIC is reggae and dancehall influenced.
