You haven't understand what i wanted to say.

All musical genres"cohabit", and trends reveal some genres to the general public. Electronica exist since almost 30 years, hip hop 50 years etc... And there is periods where a genre is more famous than an other but it doesn't mean there is musical genre that "die". Rock wasn't famous in 90's and in the middle of 00's there was a return of rock music, it's always changing. You understand?

When you talk about "people" you talk about the GP, the visible and commercial part and you deny a big part of the musical production. Plus, the musical trends comes from the underground scene and commercial producers smooth the raw production of the underground producers to make "acceptable" music to a GP who is a casual listener of music.

Musical innovations comes from underground scenes, and i think rock have a great new underground scene wich could inspired "pop music" (by pop i mean all genres who are famous, pop is more a kind of prodcution thant a true genre you know, Beatles, Kendrick or Ariana make pop music and  this is not the same genre).

I dont' care if Gaga make a rock album or not but I don't like when people say "rock" (or another genre) is dead, it means nothing.

Rock and roll and subsequently rock were the most popular genre of popular music from the late 40s up until the very early 90s (Elvis, the Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Nirvana, Green Day, The Strokes, Muse, etc)

At the same time rock and roll and (subsequently) rock there was also pop music. Pop music is just another genre of popular music (Madonna, MJ, Cher, Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, etc)

Pop music survived and so did r&b. Rap was created in the late 80s and is also super popular ever since its creation

The general public have moved on and now rock is dead (but since you don’t want to admit it, let’s just say that rock is in life support then lol)

imo gaga should do a cute lil rock side project like c2c later in her career

it not being the most popular genre doesn't mean it's bad, the fact that it isn't big on charts doesn't mean it's bad, look at todays pop music, it's trash and it's on top of the charts

Life has a hopeful undertone |-/

I really hope it's not another album full of only dance songs, but I'm sure i'll still love it even if it is. There are enough other genres for her to draw from that she hasn't done yet (although i'm sure it'll be more electronic than Joanne either way).

I guess the only Nightmare I can think of will be if LG6 doesn't exist at all! Besides that, I can't imagine any realistic "nightmare" scenarios. She's never given us anything but amazing albums so far, so I don't see why she would stop now.

why people can’t understand that pop music and it’s quality is clearly in one hell of a slump is beyond me

An album full of generic unoriginal songs like The Cure, with no promo, disappointing music videos (Joanne says hi) and lack of creativity in the performances and tour (Joanne says hi again)
