TFM and Joanne are the most polished. BTW and ARTPOP are very overproduced tbh :trollga: Some songs are great but some are just noise. :emma:

Between BTW and Joanne. I voted btw though

I agree wholeheartedly. I get very curious about the technical aspects and sound ratios of the BTW album, sometimes- specifically the volume and grit in many of the vocals. It really works with the whole "on the road" electro/classic rock tonal aesthetic she was in at the time.

But also big kudos for Joanne for being her cleanest, most polished album, in almost all aspects.

Wow am I the only one that thinks BTW is pretty bad when it comes to overall sound? I love the songs and some sound great (especially the first part of the album) but it sounds a bit flat and some instrument choices are :poot:

Ok I'm not trying to be shady but how does Joanne have the best production...

Super subjective, tbh. Like, it's definitely not as layered as her other albums, so it definitely seems just less. On the other hand, it really works with the whole Americana vibe she got going on.

imo the highlight of the production is its cleanliness, but the highlight of the album is not its production but rather its writing.
