The trailer misled us a lot by making us think it was going to be a comedy video from start to finish so I'm so glad that wasn't the case. I loved the telenovela spoof at the beginning and the storyline was actually quite smart. I aslo like the dancing part in the middle when it really took on the feel of the song. Would've preferred an actual performance of a Latin dance at that moment, however. I still would have liked a video reminiscent of something Santana would do or the Wild Thoughts video, though. Maybe grainy footage and moments of dancing the samba or rumba. That would have actually really had the authentic Cuban feel to it. I think it's a shame that the aim of a lot of music videos from young artists now is to go viral and get the audience to laugh. In the restaurant scene, again, she was wearing a red dress and lighting seems to be dark. Same goes to the movie scene (when she's watching) and in that black and white movie. Looks matter.
